It is therefore important that consumers of news are able to note the difference between the sources of the information they receive, especially information from online news media.

The following news websites may appear similar with regards to domain names and colour themes on the websites but they are not same:

  • myjoyonline.com is not same as www.joynewsroom.com
  • graphic.com.gh is not same as www.graphicgh.com
  • bbc.com is not related to www.bbcnewsghana.com

Also, the following websites are satirical and parody platforms:

  • newsmunews.com
  • screwlife.com
