Political Party Representation in Parliament

Though there are over 20 political parties registered in the books of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, very few actively partake in general elections, and fewer still are represented in parliament. In fact, in the current Parliament of Ghana, only four political parties have seats. A few candidates however, ran on independent slots and won seats in the current parliament. Below is a breakdown of MPs by political party affiliation.
