Around noon on election day, there were allegations of a man who has been arrested for attempting to stuff  already thumb-printed ballot papers into some ballot boxes in the Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

Confirming the claim to Fact-Check Ghana, Ashanti Regional Coordinator of the Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) said a man was indeed arrested after people saw him attempting to stuff thumb-printed ballot papers into a ballot box.
