Emmanuel K. Gyan is a freelance fact-checker with Fact-Check Ghana and an alumnus of the Media Foundation for West Africa’s (MFWA) third cohort of the Next Generation Investigative Journalism (NGIJ) Fellowship in 2023.

He is also serving as the Acting Deputy News Editor at Sky FM, a radio station based in Sunyani, Bono Region.

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies and Economics Education from the University of Education, Winneba, where he also gained practical media experience working with the University’s campus radio station, Radio Windy Bay, for two years
