Our Team

Adwoa Adobea-Owusu is an Investigative Reporter with The Fourth Estate, a public-spirit and accountability journalism project of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA). Prior to her MFWA engagement, she was a content producer for the non-governmental organisation, Send Ghana. She has also worked with the Media General Group, one of Ghana’s leading media conglomerates. But she cut her journalism teeth at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. Adwoa has had a stint with Ghana’s first private commercial radio station, Joy FM and ATL FM, a campus community radio station of the University of Cape Coast. She worked with ACDI/VOCA on the USDA sponsored Ghana Poultry Project where she was instrumental in documenting the success stories of the project to bolster domestic poultry production in Ghana.
